Formation Circle exists to companion those in need on the path of spiritual transformation. Our certified Spiritual Directors do this through deep listening, practices, and tested tools. And by holding this sacred space that is open to whatever *is*, seekers throughout the centuries have found comfort, guidance, and a way forward in the midst of various seasons.
Our commitment is to neither invade nor abandon you—something that is sadly rare to find even in our chosen communities and relationships. Our directors especially love walking alongside people in places and seasons where they feel alone, uncertain, stuck, or misunderstood. Formation Circle's approach is marked by our ecumenical, inquisitive, and nonjudgemental nature. With a wide range of experiences and training, to draw on.

Ways to Grow
Doing inner work requires two areas: knowledge/awareness and experience/practice. We at Formation Circle focus on helping others through the gift and art of deep listening in Spiritual Direction and the powerful tool of transformative teaching in the Enneagram.
Spiritual Direction
Discern where you are being led. Spiritual Direction is for those who desire help connecting their story to God's story. These one-on-one sessions provide a safe, confidential, and contemplative setting with a certified professional trained to listen deeply to your own journey.
Our three Spiritual Directors are Sam Ogles, Mattie Kahn, and Saranell Hartman.
*Sessions are usually 1 hour in length.*
Enneagram Teaching
It's no exaggeration to say that the Enneagram is one of the single greatest tools for self-knowledge and inner work that I have found. The Enneagram is a tool for spiritual transformation with both ancient and Christian roots. As a certified instructor, Sam teaches various Enneagram workshops to groups of any size.
